AQA GCSE NEA Moderation
Service Description
Wednesday 25th March 2026 9:30am-3:30pm Altrincham College, Greater Manchester, WA15 8QW This GMDC AQA GCSE Dance NEA moderation event offers a collaborative space for dance teachers to discuss and review their own NEA marking ahead of submission. The session focuses on professional dialogue, shared interpretation of the assessment criteria, and peer-to-peer discussion to support confidence in individual marking decisions. Teachers are encouraged to bring anonymised student work to inform discussion, reflect on evidence, and consider how marking judgements align with the specification. GMDC events are independent and not affiliated with AQA. This session does not provide official moderation, verification, or guarantees of outcomes, but instead supports teachers through professional collaboration and reflective practice prior to final submission. The event is designed for teachers delivering GCSE Dance who value shared professional discussion as part of accurate and confident assessment practice.

Cancellation Policy
All tickets for GMDC face-to-face events are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend and notify us within 7 days of the event date, your ticket may be transferred to a future GMDC event, subject to availability. Transfers must be arranged in advance. Event fees cover attendance at the event, light refreshments and contributes to the room hire fee. Refunds or partial refunds cannot be offered for non-attendance. In the unlikely event that GMDC cancels an event, a full refund will be issued.
